[Insert Witty Title Here]

I’ve long known of Project Gutenberg - it’s one of the oldest large-scale projects on the internet.  I didn’t know there was an audio equivalent.  LibriVox attempts to do for audiobooks what Project Gutenberg did for ebooks:  create a repository where anybody can download any public-domain audiobook for free.  I’ve been a huge fan of audiobooks for several years.  Finding this project will allow me to finally get around to reading a bunch of classics that I always wanted to read, but never got around to. I’m starting with Scaramouche.

Do yourself a favor - Go over to the Gutenberg top 100 list and pick out a classic you never got around to reading.  Then go to LibriVox and download the audio version.  Listen to it in the car or when you’re working out or whenever your brain isn’t doing much.  It’ll make up for all that professional wrestling and reality TV you watch.
