Compilation of movies using the “Wilhelm Scream”

I was aware that there are certain special effects used in film and TV that have been around for decades and are constantly re-used.  I was not aware that some of them have attained an almost cult following.  The Wilhelm Scream is probably the biggest.  It has been used in over 100 big name movies since it was recorded in 1953.  There is also a cool mini documentary on the scream if you are so inclined.  (via Neatorama)
