[Insert Witty Title Here]

This mashup of the films of Wes Anderson is just one of many created by video artist Paul Proulx.  Certain film directors have an unmistakeable style, and Proulx’s mashups manage to capture that style exactly.  They’re too long to be trailers, to good to be music videos, but they’re just right for distilling the essence of what makes a Wes Anderson movie a Wes Anderson movie or a Tim Burton movie a Tim Burton movie.  You can read an interesting interview with the guy on Always Watching, as well as see some of his other mashups featuring the films of Martin Scorcese, David Lynch, and the Cohen brothers, among others.

I’d be really interested to see what he could do with the films of Terry Gilliam.  (via Neatorama)
