[Insert Witty Title Here]

Sweet merciful crap.  The trailer for the next WoW expansion looks badass.  After 9 months without WoW, this actually got me interested enough to start playing again.

HD version downloadable here.

Woo hoo!  Got a beta invite in the mail this morning.  So much for getting anything done for the next couple days.

I figure I get to break my “No World of Warcraft stuff” policy every six months or so.  I’m burning this season’s get-out-of-being-a-WoW-dork-free-card for “World of Workcraft”.  I think it’s worth it.  (via WoW Insider)

The Guild

I’ve been enjoying this MMO-players-meet-in-real-life comedy series for a while, but after I heard writer/star Felicia Day and cast member Sandeep Parikh in an interview on The Instance this week, I love it even more.  It’s hilariously funny if you play an MMORPG, and still very amusing if you don’t.  They have 7 episodes out so far, and each one is great.

Awesome side note - Parikh is the writer and producer of The Legend of Neil, which has aparantly been picked up as a web series by Comedy Central.  I really can’t wait for more episodes of that.

While I’d love for ninja looters and PvP griefers to be sent to Gitmo, I don’t see how this could possibly help the war or common sense terror. It’s a toss up over which part of this plan is more insulting - the stupidity or the invasiveness.

Ultimate WoW MultiboxingI try not to post World of Warcraft stuff here, but this transcends any mere game in it’s unbelievable nerdosity. 47 computers, 7 monitors, 2 recliners, 1 really geeky couple. Follow the link for more pics. (via Engadget)
